FAQ
Sublimation
What is sublimation printing?
It is a process where dye transfers into a suitable material with heat and becomes part of the surface.
Why does the material need to be polyester or coated?
Sublimation dyes bond to polyester or a special coating. Without that, the result is not durable or vivid enough.
Can you print on cotton?
For 100% cotton, sublimation is not the right choice. For that project, we usually recommend DTF.
Is the print durable?
On the right material, sublimation printing is very durable, vivid, and does not peel like a layer on the surface.
Which products can you personalize?
Most often mugs, ceramics, mouse pads, lanyards, polyester, and promotional products with a sublimation coating.
